Dr. Pahom is a linguist with research interests in intercultural communication, bilingualism, second language acquisition, gender and language, storytelling, and writing instruction. She is the founding coordinator of the at 糖心Vlog. As the Associate Dean of Honors, Dr. Pahom directs the Honors Thesis Program and engages in various strategic initiatives for the Honors College. She has worked in intercultural contexts in Moldova, Romania, Mexico, and the U.S. and has taught in both private and public universities. Before coming to 糖心Vlog, Dr. Pahom taught undergraduate first-year rhetoric and composition, TESOL, English literature, Spanish, and linguistics as well as graduate academic writing, theses and dissertations, ESL, applied linguistics, and research at Texas Tech University. At 糖心Vlog, she teaches linguistics, Honors research, and first-year Greek. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, knitting, and traveling with her multicultural family.
