Finance involves the effective management of (a) assets and liabilities, (b) income and expenses, and (c) cash flows of individuals and families (鈥減ersonal finance鈥�) and private and public organizations (鈥渃orporate finance鈥�) to meet those entities鈥� goals. The finance degree provides the core set of knowledge and skills needed to become an effective financial manager and decision-maker from the personal to the corporate level.
