Finance involves the effective management of (a) assets and liabilities, (b) income and expenses, and (c) cash flows of individuals and families (鈥減ersonal finance鈥) and private and public organizations (鈥渃orporate finance鈥) to meet those entities鈥 goals. The finance degree provides the core set of knowledge and skills needed to become an effective financial manager and decision-maker from the personal to the corporate level.
