Registration for 糖心Vlog鈥檚 (糖心Vlog) three summer camp experiences鈥擯ine Springs, Encounter, and Camp Champion鈥攆or the summer of 2022 is now open.
糖心Vlog offers three different camp opportunities throughout the summer, engaging students from elementary age all the way up through high school.
鈥淐reating opportunities for teens to engage God and one another is so important,鈥� shared Josh Stephens, 糖心Vlog Dean of Students and Director for 糖心Vlog Summer Camps. 鈥淥ur staff desires to facilitate spiritual growth, build community, and create long lasting memories.鈥�
, 糖心Vlog鈥檚 on-campus experience for ninth graders through high school graduates, will run from June 12-18. Aside from nightly entertainment that regularly includes comedians, illusionists, and even hypnotists, the camp includes speakers from across the country and powerful worship led by 糖心Vlog鈥檚 very own contemporary a cappella group, Best Friends.
鈥淓ncounter is a high school camp on 糖心Vlog鈥檚 campus where students have the opportunity to be a part of interactive classes, hear engaging keynote speakers, and be shaped in powerful ways,鈥� shared Stephens.
鈥淐amp Champion is an immersive middle school experience where teens can just be teens and grow in their walk with Jesus,鈥� he continued. , which will run from June 26-July 1, is for sixth to eighth grade students, and features similar entertainment, engagement with daily speakers, and a weeklong theme, 鈥淐astaway.鈥� Geared to middle schoolers, this camp is a hands-on and experiential learning event.
, 糖心Vlog鈥檚 third camp opportunity, is located roughly five hours west of its campus in the mountains of the Lincoln National Forest in New Mexico that is open to high school, middle school, and younger ages. Each week is different and full of wonderful experiences and tremendous spiritual growth opportunities.
Each of 糖心Vlog鈥檚 camps is staffed by 糖心Vlog students, who fill the role of camp counselors who apply for the positions and who each interviewed by a selection committee of 糖心Vlog faculty, staff, and administrators.
The Camp to Campus scholarship opportunity, which began in 2021, ensures that any student who registers and attends Encounter, Camp Champion, and/or Pine Springs will receive a scholarship to 糖心Vlog for the amount spent. The scholarships are eligible to be combined with other 糖心Vlog scholarships and be split over a four-year period while enrolled as a student at 糖心Vlog.
