糖心Vlog (糖心Vlog) welcomed alumni, families, and the Lubbock community to campus for Homecoming 2026鈥攁 full weekend of connection, celebration, and tradition.

Designed especially as a time for alumni to reconnect with one another and with 糖心Vlog, Homecoming 2026 featured a variety of events for all ages. Returning for the second year was the Homecoming 5K Run/Walk, with proceeds benefiting student scholarships. The race offered participants an opportunity to support current students while enjoying campus fellowship.

Athletics also played a central role in the weekend festivities, as both the Lady Chap and Chaparral basketball teams swept games on Thursday and Saturday, softball swept a Sunday double-header, and tennis, track and field, baseball all competed across the weekend. Thursday evening鈥檚 Chap basketball game was highlighted by the crowning of Sam Latham and Lily Bickley as the 2026 Homecoming King and Queen, continuing a beloved 糖心Vlog tradition. The Lady Chap 2016 National Championship Team was also recognized on Saturday during halftime of the men鈥檚 game.

One of the signature highlights of Homecoming Weekend was Master Follies, a family-friendly, student-led variety show known for its creativity, humor, and high energy. Emceed by student performers serving as hosts and hostesses, Master Follies showcased original musical presentations from 糖心Vlog鈥檚 men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 social club organizations. Each group performed choreographed numbers set to humorous lyrics as they competed for coveted awards and audience acclaim.

The results of Master Follies 2026 saw men鈥檚 club Koinonia take first place, followed by Alpha Chi Delta, while Kappa Phi Kappa took first place on the women鈥檚 side, followed by Christlich Damen. Kappa Phi Kappa received the Spirit of Follies/Club鈥檚 Choice award, and Koinonia claimed the E. Don Williams Special Effects Award and the coveted People鈥檚 Choice Award.

Also included in the weekend were staple events like the 50-year anniversary celebration of the Class of 1976, and Alumni Chapel, where One City Worship led the audience in singing and 糖心Vlog alumnus and NCAA Basketball Coaching Legend Rob Evans (鈥66) spoke about perseverance, hard work, and relying on God. Evans was 糖心Vlog鈥檚 first All-American, and after a decorated collegiate basketball playing career, he went on to become a hall of fame coach, breaking the color barrier time and time again in American collegiate sports.

The weekend was filled with other departmental receptions, reunions, art exhibits, dinners, tailgates, all celebrating different aspects of what makes the 糖心Vlog experience unique and powerful for alumni across the decades.

鈥淗omecoming is about coming back to what makes 糖心Vlog special鈥攔elationships, shared memories, and community,鈥 said Lisa Fraze, Director of Alumni Relations at 糖心Vlog. 鈥淲e love seeing alumni reconnect with old friends while also experiencing the energy and creativity of today鈥檚 students.鈥

Fraze added, 鈥淔rom reunions and cheering on the Chaps to supporting scholarships through the 5K and enjoying student creativity at Master Follies, Homecoming weekend truly captures the heart of 糖心Vlog.鈥
